Winter Gauntlet Gloves

Let’s face it., old or young, when temperatures dip into frigid winter, our fingers get cold inside a regular falconry \glove or gauntlet. Doug Pineo designed the Winter Gauntlet following numerous customer requests.  The Winter Gauntlet has been refined over successive winter seasons, and game hawkers of all ages will appreciate our new mid-cuff Winter Gauntlet. It’s lined with 100-weight premium Polartec® double velour fleece, made in Massachusetts. The gauntlet is constructed in our signature American-tanned Chestnut brown, heavy goatskin. As with our unlined gauntlets and our Pendleton Hawking Gloves, this heavy goatskin is both very supple and extremely durable. The extra bulk (it’s minimal) of the Polartec lining into our sizing for the Winter Gauntlet. No need to order up in size to account for it. Made in the USA.

“D” Ring kits and Scissor Snaps are sold separately. Please email us if you would like us to attach a “D” Ring or Scissor Snap to your glove for an additional $20.00.

Sizing Guidelines:

Small: 7-inches to 81/2-inches

Medium: 9-inches to 10-inches

Large: 10-inches to 12-inches

How to size your hand:

Measure around your palm with a string or tape measure. The measurement in inches is your gauntlet size. See photos for an example or email us a scan of your hand tracing.
